Former designer and CEO of an international footwear company, Janine Granger has been involved in the fitness industry as a gym instructor for over 30 years.
She has taught Aerobics, Boxercise, Core Strength and stretching and is passionate about the value of technique.
After teaching aerobics for two years in Europe she returned to Australia determined to perfect the art of boxing. She trained at Footscray Gym for more than seven years, under the instruction of former Australian Olympic coach, Beau Geering.
Desmond Duguid, an Australian Commonwealth contender, was her mentor and a world boxing champion, Amanda Buchanan, became her personal trainer.
As Janine explains, “I never fought or sparred (not my thing) but I trained just as hard as the fighters, loved each training session and still think the Art of Amateur Boxing is one of the most graceful and hardest things I have ever done, add to it stretching and core strength training and you have the complete package."

Fitness group sessions are held every Saturday. These sessions may include: Cardio, Strength Conditioning, Balance Ball, Battle Ropes, Boxing, Core Strength, Slam Ball, just to mention a few.
