In our beautifully appointed cottage 'Shillings & Pence', you will be enchanted by the sounds and perfumes of nature . . . the freshest air, prolific bird life, wallabies, wombats and koalas.
Nestled on the edge of the historic Wombat State Forest Shillings & Pence cottage offers peace and tranquility.
Ramble along a bush walk in the forest or the Four Rivers Run Forest Track or just sit back and enjoy the forest and garden aspect of this beautiful 6.5 hectare property.
The charming cottage features a cosy lounge with flat screen television and a selection of movies, open fire and reverse cycle air conditioning. In the bedroom there is a queen size bed complete with fluffy pillows and doona. Luxury bath towels, robes and toiletries await you in the bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen is complemented by a Delonghi coffee machine.
You will find regional breakfast produce stacked in the fridge along with a complementary bottle of wine.

A short drive from 17pounds Country Estate is our sister property in the heart of Daylesford, Trathen on Grenville. Stay for a while and discover Daylesford's hidden treasures.
The Retro Studio
Wonderful, retro styled, 1 bedroom garden villa with an abundance of 70s kitch. Bright orange restored furniture, fab new kitchen, Coffee machine, a fondue set and a sparkling new bathroom, Daylesford aromatherapy toiletries add to the experience complete this funky, bright and light villa. Just a 10 minute walk to restaurants and cafe's.
The Garden Room
Tucked away in your own private garden, this new studio is private and close to town.
Queen size bed, Japanese styled dressing gowns, slippers , Daylesford aromatherapy toiletries add to the experience.
Coffee machine, WiFi, smart TV with a selection of teas and complimentary bottle of wine. Outside deck with garden view with 60 year old walnut tree, the studio is perfect for a quick getaway.
